Care Assistant (Home Instead – Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent)
About the Role
We’re seeking kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes within the Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent area. As a brand-new office, we are building a community-based team of compassionate individuals passionate about making a meaningful difference.
This part-time role offers flexible shift options:
- Morning shifts: 07:00–14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00–21:00
Shifts typically run Monday to Friday, with alternate weekend availability required. Hours will fluctuate as we expand our client base, making this role ideal for those eager to be part of something new and growing.

At Home Instead, we prioritise personal, meaningful care with visits lasting at least an hour. No rushing—just genuine support tailored to each individual.
Key Responsibilities
Support older adults with:
- Personal care & mobility (e.g., assistance with daily routines, maintaining safety)
- Meal preparation & hot drinks (ensuring nutritious, enjoyable meals)
- Light household tasks (to keep homes safe, tidy, and comfortable)
- Companionship & conversation (friendly interaction to combat loneliness)
- Personal health-related support (where applicable, covered by paid training) 🔹 No medical background or experience required—we provide full training and support.

Hours
Flexible part-time schedule, with a mix of:
- Morning/Afternoon shifts (7AM–7PM)
- Alternate weekend availability Hours will vary while we build our client base—ideal for those who thrive in a growing, dynamic team.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Right to work in the UK
- Full driving licence (access to a car is essential)
- Fluent English & strong communication skills
