Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent

Company Description

We’re seeking kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes within the Deal, Sandwich & Dover area.

We are a brand-new office embedded in the local community, looking for compassionate individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact and joining an exciting new venture.

Job Overview

Role: Part-time Care Assistant (home visits) Location: Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent Shifts: Flexible part-time with morning or afternoon options

  • Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
  • Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00
  • Monday to Friday, with alternate weekend availability required Hours will adapt as we grow our client base.

Job Description

Care Philosophy: "Care as it should be – unhurried, personal, rewarding" Each visit lasts at least an hour, ensuring meaningful, one-on-one interactions without rushing.


What You’ll Do

You’ll provide essential support, including:

  • Personal care & mobility assistance
  • Meal preparation & hot drink services
  • Light household tasks to maintain safety and comfort
  • Companionship, conversation & friendly interaction

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence and access to a car (mileage reimbursement applies)
  • Clear English & strong communication skills
  • Warm, patient & compassionate attitude
