Care Assistant – At Home Instead, Dover, Deal & Sandwich, Kent

Company Description

We’re searching for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their homes across Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent.

We are a brand-new office in the local community, looking for caring individuals who genuinely want to make a positive difference and be part of something new and exciting.

This is a part-time role with flexible shift options:

  • Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
  • Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00

Shifts are available Monday to Friday, with alternate weekends required. Hours will vary as we develop our client base—if you’re eager to join a growing, dynamic team, this is the place for you.

You’ll assist older adults with:

  • Personal care and mobility support
  • Meal preparation and hot drinks
  • Light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
  • Companionship, conversations, and a supportive presence

Some visits may include additional health-related support, but we provide fully funded training—no prior experience or medical background is required.

We’ll train, support, and encourage you every step of the way. We’re looking for the right attitude and values, such as:

Hours

Hours will vary as we build our client base, with a mix of:

  • Morning shifts: 07:00–14:00
  • Afternoon shifts: 14:00–21:00
  • Alternate weekends required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence and reliable transport (access to a car)
  • Clear English & strong communication skills
