Job Description
A new care opportunity has become available at Home Instead Doncaster.
We are seeking an advanced support worker fluent in both Polish and English to join our team and look after a Polish-speaking client with a brain injury. This is a part-time role (up to 16 hours per week), with variable start and finish times, based at the client’s home in Doncaster.
Key Responsibilities
Your role would involve:
- Supporting with medication management
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Providing companionship and engaging the client in social activities (e.g., attending the cinema)
- Offering person-centred care with quality time for genuine connection (every visit is a minimum of one hour)
What You’ll Receive
- £13/hour (weekdays), £14/hour (weekends)
- Double time pay on bank holidays
- £0.30/mile mileage for client visits
- 12–16 hours to start, with potential for more as the team grows
- Every second weekend off
- Full training provided (no experience needed)

Your Availability
We are looking for support workers available for:
- Shifts from 8am – 2:30pm or 4pm – 9pm
- Alternate weekends (essential for this role)
- Some flexibility required to help maintain continuity with the client
- Driver with access to a personal car (own vehicle required)
