Job Description

Join our mission to transform social care and enable more people to live longer, healthier, and healthier lives in their own homes. In this role you will support people who have recently left hospital following surgery or illness that require additional support whilst they recover. The Care Assistant (Reablement) role is a vital care service that means people can leave hospital sooner and reduces pressure on the NHS.
Whether you already have experience as a care assistant, have cared for a loved one, or simply enjoy supporting others, your compassion is exactly what we need. We provide all the training you need to excel as a professional carer.

- Daytime work available between 9am -3pm and 3pm-9pm. We have part-time and full-time roles available; some weekend work will be required.
- Nights also available 9pm-9am

The Role:
The service is a Fife wide service and covers Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, St Andrews, Newport-on-Tay, Auchtermuchty and everywhere in between, where you will assist with personal care, medication, and meals, visiting people in their own homes and travelling between client visits. For this role, you require a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Registration:
In Scotland, all care staff register with the SSSC. You must maintain registration and work towards your SVQ2 (funded by Cera; SVQ registration fee payable by employee).
