Job Description

Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Clacton and surrounding areas.

You'll be supporting our mission to transform social care and help more people live longer, healthier, and happier lives in their own homes. In this role, you'll be assessing individuals who have recently left hospital following surgery or illness and ensuring the correct care plans are put in place. This vital service enables people to leave hospital sooner and helps reduce pressure on the NHS.

You'll be travelling across the region — including Clacton, Tendering, Harwich, Manningtree, Frinton, Walton-on-the-Naze, and nearby areas — to provide post-hospital care to those recovering from illness or injury.

Are you kind, a people person, and passionate about making a difference?

Then this could be the perfect role for you. As a Carer, you'll genuinely make a difference every day.

About the Role:

  • Block shift pay, with Guaranteed Hours available for those with flexible availability
  • Part-time and full-time roles available (some weekend work required)
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle required
  • No previous care experience needed — full training provided

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
