Care Assistant / Home Care Worker (Drivers Required)
£13.25–£13.75 per hour + Paid Travel + Mileage + Bonuses Areas: Potters Bar, Cheshunt, Cuffley, Goffs Oak & nearby Hours: Full-time & Part-time Shifts: Morning (7am–3pm) or Evening (4pm–10pm)
About the Role
Looking for a rewarding, flexible role in care? At Home Instead Cheshunt, we support older adults to live independently at home—and we’re growing our team of compassionate, reliable carers. No experience is needed; full paid training is provided.
Responsibilities
You’ll support clients in their own homes with:
- Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Medication support & mobility assistance
- Companionship and meaningful conversation
- Meal prep, shopping, and light household help
- Care for clients with dementia and more complex needs
- Accompanying clients to appointments or outings

Pay & Benefits
- Hourly rate: £12.75–£13.25 (with bonuses pushing £13.25–£13.75)
- Paid travel time + 30p per mile mileage

Requirements
- No experience necessary (full training provided)
- Caring, reliable, willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)
- Good English communication skills
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Location: Cheshunt (EN8 preferred)
- Work Location: In-person
