Care Assistant – Ashford & Surrounding Areas

Company Description

We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults across Ashford and surrounding areas.

You’ll be required to work on:

  • Weekends – Mornings: 07:00–14:00 or Evenings: 16:00–22:00
  • Guaranteed Hours Contracts available for extra security!

As a Care Assistant at At Home Instead, you will make someone’s day—from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave—with care and a friendly smile.

At Home Instead, we provide at least an hour per visit, allowing you to focus on what matters: making someone feel safe, comfortable, and valued.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll support older adults with:

  • Personal care and mobility
  • Meal preparation or making a comforting cuppa
  • Maintaining a tidy, safe home environment
  • Sharing stories, laughter, and companionship
  • Assisting with health-related tasks (e.g., catheter care, stoma care, nail care) – Training provided

Thankfully, no prior care experience is essential—we’ll train, support, and guide you from day one.
