Company Description

Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. Our clients & staff are the heart and soul of Home Instead. Our aim is to allow individuals to lead fulfilled lives in safe and familiar surroundings in the place they call home. We do this by having a minimum of one hour visit, have well trained staff.

We are currently recruiting for Care Assistants

Driving license essential with access to vehicle and must have the right to work in the UK

Responsibilities include:

  • Home Help – Helping with everyday tasks from tidying, laundry, hoovering and meal preparation/cooking.
  • Companionship – Ensuring clients enjoy social interactions daily from chatting, playing their favourite board games etc, to going on social outing days or accompanying to appointments/shopping.
  • Personal care – Supporting clients with every day routines such as showering, dressing, grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
  • Medication support – prompting, assisting & administering

Qualifications

Prior care experience is desired but not essential.
