About the Role
We are looking for Care Professionals – you might know the role as Care Assistant or Home Care Assistant – to join our visiting care team across Shoreham-by-Sea, Southwick, Worthing and Brighton.
What you will earn
- Weekdays – £14.00 per hour
- Weekends – £16.00 per hour
- Guaranteed weekend availability – £17.00 per hour
- Time and a half on bank holidays
- Mileage paid between client visits
The hours
Between 10 and 30 hours a week, worked around your life rather than the other way round. We offer zero-hours contracts with a Flexiday option that guarantees your pay based on the availability you give us, and guaranteed-hours contracts are available subject to availability.
What you will actually be doing
You will support clients to stay in the homes they love – safe, happy and as independent as they can be. That means personal care, medication, meals, mobility support, companionship and light household tasks, alongside keeping an eye on how someone is doing and writing up your care notes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
