About The Role
We're looking for an organised and proactive Care Co-ordinator to join our Care & Support team and help ensure residents and people who use our services receive high-quality, reliable care and support.
In this role, you'll provide administrative and co-ordination support across our Homecare and Extra Care services. Working closely with managers and frontline colleagues, you'll be responsible for creating and managing staff rotas, helping to ensure care and support is delivered at the right time and in line with residents needs.
You'll also play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the service, responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate records, arranging meetings, supporting compliance activity and helping to deliver an efficient and customer-focused service.
Your main place of work will be Newport, although you'll be required to work from other locations at times and attend training or meetings when required. You'll therefore need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business use insurance. Occasional work outside normal office hours may also be required.
We're looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and detail-oriented, and enjoys coordinating services, supporting colleagues and helping to deliver excellent care services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
