About CarerCore

CarerCore is building a more accessible, responsive and personal way for people and families to arrange care. Through our managed platform, we make support easier to access while remaining fully responsible for employing, training, supervising and supporting our care professionals. Our supported-living service is designed around real choice, meaningful relationships and a home life shaped by each person's goals.

By joining CarerCore, you will help us combine modern technology with the warmth, consistency and human connection that excellent support depends on.

About The Role

As a Care Companion in Supported Living, you will support adults to live with choice, dignity and as much independence as possible. You will work alongside each person rather than taking over, using their agreed care and support plan to help them manage everyday life, maintain relationships, access their community and achieve personal goals. Support may include personal care and will be tailored to the person's needs, abilities, communication style and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build respectful, consistent relationships and learn what matters to each person.
  • Provide personal care, mobility and mealtime support with dignity, privacy and consent.
  • Use active support to help people develop skills and do as much as possible for themselves.
  • Support cooking, shopping, household routines, appointments and community activities.
  • Assist with medicines only after completing the required training and competency assessment.
  • Observe changes in health, wellbeing or behaviour and report concerns promptly.
  • Complete accurate care records, handovers and incident reports.
  • Follow safeguarding, positive behaviour support, risk and health-and-safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, advocates and other professionals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join CarerCore?

At CarerCore, supported living is about helping someone create a life — not simply completing a list of tasks. You will join an employed and supported team that values your judgement, invests in your development and gives you the guidance to provide consistent, genuinely person-centred support. Important: you must work within the agreed care plan, your training and your assessed competence — you must not make unauthorised changes to support arrangements, manage a person's money outside approved procedures, or carry out clinical tasks for which you have not been trained and signed off.
