Care Coordinator
Location: Leicester
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will help coordinate the day-to-day delivery of care services, ensuring that service users receive reliable and consistent support from appropriately matched care workers.

You will work closely with service users, families, care workers, managers and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain efficient care rotas.
- Match care workers with service users based on skills, availability, location and care requirements.
- Manage changes to rotas, sickness and emergency staffing requirements.
- Communicate with service users, families and care workers.
- Maintain accurate care plans, visit records and staff information.
- Monitor visit schedules and respond to operational issues.
- Support the management team with compliance and quality processes.
- Participate in an out-of-hours/on-call rota where required.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data-protection requirements.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Senior Care Worker or similar role is desirable.
- Experience within domiciliary or community care is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Strong IT and administrative skills.
- Experience using care-management or rostering software is desirable.
- Knowledge of Leicester and surrounding areas is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
