About us
Right at Home provides premium quality homecare to older people, those living with dementia and other vulnerable adults living within our local communities. Recognised as a progressive, high-quality, sector leader in the provision of health and social care, we are actively recruiting a Care Coordinator for our office in Oxford, to help us deliver outstanding care across our local community.
This role requires a person with exceptional communication and organisational skills to support our fantastic team of CareGivers to deliver high-quality, reliable care to our valued Clients. The ideal candidate will be personable, offer a great deal of flexibility and be detail-oriented to enable us to provide quality, reliable care.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling and Rostering
- Organise and maintain staff rotas to ensure all care calls are covered efficiently.
- Create and manage client and caregiver templates within the scheduling system.
- Manage day-to-day scheduling and coordinate ad hoc changes resulting from sickness, annual leave, emergencies, or changes in client needs.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure continuity of care and maximise operational efficiency.

- Schedule and coordinate spot checks, competency observations, and staff supervisions.
- Maintain records of completed supervisions and spot checks.
- Support compliance with company policies, CQC requirements, and quality standards.
- Follow up on actions identified through quality monitoring activities.
Recruitment Support
- Assist with recruitment activities, including screening applications and arranging interviews.
- Participate in interviews and candidate selection processes.
- Complete staff file audits and checks to ensure compliance with recruitment and regulatory requirements.
- Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
Training Coordination
- Organise mandatory and specialist training for care staff.
- Roster employees onto training sessions while maintaining service coverage.
- Monitor training compliance and arrange refresher training as required.
- Maintain accurate training records and identify upcoming renewal requirements.
Assessments and Care Planning
- Conduct client assessments and reassessments as required.
- Develop, review, and update person-centred care plans.
- Ensure care plans accurately reflect client needs, preferences, risks, and outcomes.
- Communicate care plan updates to relevant staff and stakeholders.

Enquiry Management
- Respond to new care enquiries from prospective clients and their families.
- Provide information about services and arrange initial consultations or assessments.
- Maintain accurate enquiry records and support the conversion of enquiries into new care packages.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills and experience with scheduling and care management systems.
- Knowledge of domiciliary care regulations and person-centred care practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Use of a scheduling/HR/recording system – Desirable
- Relevant qualification, such as Health and Social Care – Desirable
- Experience in a customer service setting - Desirable
- Must hold UK/ EU driving licence, have daily use of a car and have class 1 business insurance - Essential
- Right to work in the UK - Essential
