On-Call Coordinator – Part-Time

Hours: 20 hours per week

Rate of Pay: €16.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time, On-Call

Sector: Homecare / Healthcare

About the Role

Right at Home is looking for a reliable, organised and confident On-Call Coordinator to support our out-of-hours homecare service.

This is a remote-working role, with the position based from our Dublin 16 office. You will be the main point of contact for care staff and clients outside normal office hours, helping to manage changes to schedules, staff absences, emergency cover and any issues that arise during the on-call period.

The successful candidate will be calm under pressure, confident making decisions independently and able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families and care staff.

Our company values are at the heart of how we work: Accountable, Authentic, Personable and Thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Out-of-Hours Coordination

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and care staff during on-call hours.
  • Respond to staff absences, cancellations and changes to scheduled care calls.
  • Arrange suitable cover where required to minimise disruption to client care.
  • Monitor schedules and ensure planned visits are delivered.
  • Escalate urgent or unresolved issues to the appropriate manager.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of calls, actions and outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
