Kensa Health supports people to live well at home through high quality, reliable community care. As our Bournemouth service continues to grow, we’re looking for a Care Co-ordinator to help keep care running smoothly for both our clients and our care teams.
This is a predominantly office based role, working closely with the Registered Manager. You’ll play a key part in coordinating care, supporting staff and making sure clients receive consistent, well planned support.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate daily care schedules to ensure all visits are safely covered
- Support care staff with rotas, changes and day to day queries
- Liaise with clients and families to maintain strong, positive relationships
- Carry out care reviews, spot checks and staff supervisions
- Support the setup of new care packages and changes to existing ones
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records
- Represent Kensa Health professionally by phone, in person and in writing
- Take part in an on call rota, managing out of hours queries and emergencies

What you’ll get
- Basic Salary: £28,119.00 per annum
- Typical annual earnings with on call bonus: £33,415.32 per annum, including MINIMUM mandatory participation in the on-call rota (based on two weekday on-call shifts per week and one in every three weekends).
- 28 days paid annual leave
- Monday to Friday working hours, 9am to 5pm
- On call duties on a rota basis, typically 1 or two weekdays per week and alternate weekends

About you
- Experience coordinating people, rotas or workloads, ideally in health or social care
- Confident communicating with staff, clients and professionals
- Organised, responsive and comfortable managing a busy workload
- Calm under pressure with a practical, problem solving approach
- Compassionate, professional and people focused
- Comfortable using IT systems including rota planning and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check
