Genomic Medicine Care Division

The Genomic Medicine care Division is part of Saint Mary’s Managed Clinical Service (Within the Specialist Hospital Clinical Group at MFT). It provides a comprehensive, integrated genetic service to a population of over 5.7 million and over 10,000 individuals per year attend genetic clinics. The Care Division of Genomics comprises of the Clinical Genetics Service, Willink Metabolic Genetics Unit, and recently designated North West Genomic Medicine Service. The department is also home to the Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and Type 2 highly specialised services. Our multidisciplinary clinical services include cancer, developmental disorders, cardiac, prenatal, ophthalmology and metabolic services.

Lead Nurse Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Genomics team as a Lead Nurse, delivering line management, strategic development and leadership to specialised and highly specialised commissioned nursing teams. As part of the senior leadership team, the postholder will also work very closely with the Clinical Head of Division and Associate Director of Performance and Operations and will represent the nursing workforce at a Specialist Hospital Clinical Group level.
