Situated within easy reach of Rochdale, Bury, Middleton and the wider Greater Manchester area, Heywood Court is a well-established care home with strong community links. We're looking for an organised and friendly Administrator to become a key part of our dedicated team and help support the smooth day-to-day running of the home.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within their local community, building relationships with residents, families, colleagues and external professionals while helping deliver exceptional care behind the scenes.

About The Role

As Care Home Administrator, you'll be at the centre of our home's operations, providing vital administrative, financial and reception support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies and procedures
  • Preparing and issuing management reports within required timescales
  • Processing resident payments and maintaining related records
  • Supporting invoicing processes and liaising with the Sales Ledger and Credit Control teams
  • Ensuring payroll administration and staff attendance records are maintained accurately
  • Managing resident and employee files in accordance with company policies
  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Home Manager
  • Handling correspondence, filing and document management
  • Operating office equipment and maintaining office systems
  • Welcoming visitors and answering telephone enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery supplies and staff uniforms
  • Assisting with stock takes and associated record keeping
  • Supporting staff and resident meetings when required

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and professional
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using computer systems and administrative processes
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Passionate about supporting older people and contributing to a positive care environment
  • Experienced in an administrative role, ideally within a care, healthcare or regulated setting
