Package Description

At Avery Healthcare, we're not just opening a new care home, we're creating a place where people will feel safe, valued, connected and truly at home.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and ambitious leader to take the helm of a brand-new care home from the very beginning. As our Commissioning General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life, shaping the culture, building and inspiring your team, welcoming our first residents, and establishing a home that delivers exceptional care from day one.

Avery is one of the UK's leading providers of luxury residential, dementia and respite care, but what truly sets us apart is our people. We believe that when colleagues feel supported, empowered and appreciated, they create outstanding experiences for residents and families. That's why we invest in our teams, champion innovation, and foster a culture where everyone can thrive.

If you're passionate about delivering exceptional care, building high-performing teams, and making a meaningful difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

As our Commissioning General Manager, you will lead the home through commissioning, opening and ongoing operation.

You'll shape the culture, build a high-performing team, and establish the home as a trusted part of the local community. Combining strong leadership with commercial awareness and a passion for quality care, you'll ensure residents, families and colleagues experience excellence from day one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
