Care Home Manager (Nursing)

Swaffham, Norfolk
£75,000 per year
Performance-related pay bonus and profit-based bonuses

Meridian Business Support are working with a well-established care provider to recruit a Care Home Manager (Nursing) for a service in Swaffham. This is a priority role offering strong earning potential, full operational responsibility, and the support of an experienced regional team.

The Role

As Care Home Manager (Nursing), you will lead the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and strong commercial performance. This welcoming residential care home provides high-quality, person-centred care in a comfortable and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
  • Ensuring compliance with all CQC standards and working towards achieving Outstanding ratings
  • Managing budgets and monitoring financial performance, including occupancy levels
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Driving local marketing activity to maintain full occupancy
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive culture focused on compassion, dignity, and respect

Skills and Experience

To be successful as Care Home Manager (Nursing), you will bring a balance of leadership, regulatory knowledge, and commercial awareness:

  • Previous experience managing a nursing or residential service
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations with a track record of good or outstanding outcomes
  • Commercial understanding, including managing budgets and occupancy
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • NMC registration is desirable but not essential
