Role Description
The Care Home Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Treochy, responsible for the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of a residential care home. Key duties include:

- Overseeing resident care and safeguarding
- Managing staff schedules and performance
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
- Coordinating care plans with healthcare professionals
- Supporting families with clear communication
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting
- Monitoring budgets
- Contributing to occupancy and quality initiatives
- Fostering a positive, inclusive culture that supports residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing

Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing or supervising within a care home, residential care, or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including team development, performance oversight and staff support.
- Knowledge of UK care regulations, safeguarding practices, and quality assurance standards in residential care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with residents, families, professionals, and regulators.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities, including managing priorities, resources, and day-to-day operations.
- Relevant health or social care qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent) or working towards it.
- Confidence with basic IT systems, care management software and report writing.
- Commitment to person-centered care, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
