💷 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

Harmony Homecare Suffolk is looking for an experienced, confident and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and further develop our domiciliary care service.

We are a well-established, CQC-rated Good homecare provider supporting people across Suffolk to remain safe, independent and respected in their own homes.

We work closely with individuals, families, healthcare professionals and commissioning partners, and we are committed to delivering consistently safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who understands that excellent care depends on strong governance, visible leadership, reliable systems and a team that feels supported, valued and accountable.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, compliance and continued development of the service.

You will work closely with the Director, Deputy Manager, Care Coordinators, Care Assessors, HR, Finance and our wider care team.

Your focus will be to protect the people we support, maintain regulatory compliance, strengthen operational performance and build a positive, professional culture across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the CQC Registered Manager and ensure the service meets all relevant legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain strong oversight of the CQC quality statements and ensure the service remains safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
  • Lead the preparation for inspections, monitoring visits, audits and commissioner reviews.
  • Ensure safeguarding concerns, incidents, accidents, complaints, medication errors and whistleblowing matters are managed promptly, transparently and appropriately.
  • Maintain effective governance systems, including audits, action plans, risk registers, quality monitoring and continuous improvement processes.
  • Ensure care plans, risk assessments, reviews and daily records are accurate, person-centred, current and reflective of each individual’s needs, choices and desired outcomes.
  • Promote dignity, independence, consent, equality, respect and involvement in every aspect of care delivery.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, induction, training, supervision, competency assessments, appraisals and performance management.
  • Ensure safer recruitment procedures are followed, including appropriate checks, references and employment documentation.
  • Build a stable, motivated and accountable workforce while supporting staff wellbeing, recognition and professional development.
  • Work with the coordination team to maintain safe staffing levels, effective rotas, continuity of care and reliable call delivery.
  • Monitor missed, late or shortened calls and ensure concerns are investigated and corrective action is taken.
  • Maintain oversight of medication management, infection prevention and control, moving and handling, health and safety, safeguarding and Mental Capacity Act requirements.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients, relatives, advocates, social workers, community professionals, the NHS, Suffolk County Council and other stakeholders.
  • Respond professionally to complaints and feedback, ensuring lessons are learned and improvements are embedded.
  • Analyse operational and quality data to identify risks, trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support responsible business growth without compromising care quality, staff capacity or compliance.
  • Provide clear reports and updates to the Director and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Promote an open culture in which staff feel confident to speak up, report concerns and learn from mistakes.
  • Lead by example and represent Harmony Homecare Suffolk professionally at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
