Role Description
The Care Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, overseeing the delivery of safe, person-centered homecare services. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Care Manager will:
- Supervise, support, and train care workers
- Monitor service standards
- Respond to concerns or changes in clients’ needs
The role also involves:
- Liaising with families, social services, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and integrated care
- Administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and contributing to service improvement
Qualifications
- Strong case management skills, including assessment, care planning, and ongoing review of individual support needs.
- Experience in training and supervising care staff, with the ability to provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge and experience in elder care, including support for individuals with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and physical disabilities.
- Background in social services, with an understanding of multi-agency working and community-based support networks.
- Basic knowledge of medicine relevant to homecare settings, including awareness of medication management and health monitoring procedures.
- Relevant health or social care qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, or equivalent).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to person-centered and non-discriminatory practice.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within the local area as needed, and hold a valid driver’s license if required for the role.
