Due to growth within the organisation, an exciting opportunity presents to join Saracen Care, inspected and rated as OUTSTANDING with the CQC; working alongside an established management team within the Cheltenham and Gloucester location.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual who can demonstrate excellent service, communication, and innovation with values at their heart, who is committed to quality care and continuous improvement, to join our dedicated team.

Experience of working with individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and behaviours that challenge is essential ideally in supported living. Demonstrable 5 years’ experience in Health and Social Care, with two years minimum in Management. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or be working towards it. The successful candidate will need to have a full UK driving licence and their own transport.

  • Oversee the care and support needs of all individuals within the services, interacting with professionals and relatives. Have overall responsibility for the compliance of all individual’s files, including support plans, including positive behaviour support plans, risk assessment, reporting and reviews.
  • To effectively manage staff teams, and to pro-actively support with embedding a positive work culture, generate and implement innovation within the service.
  • Be responsible for the investigation and reporting of all incidents and accidents (including safeguarding and CQC notifications), ensuring timely action taken and documented and full 360 communication as required.
  • To be fully conversant with the relevant statutory regulations, CQC fundamental standards, and legislation surrounding the care industry. To be involved with CQC Inspections, contract monitoring visits, internal critical friend visits and mock inspections.
  • To undertake regular audits related to the care and support of individuals and report on compliance. Collate and analyse audit information, monthly reports and monitoring logs to identify trends, any actions, any improvements, and communicate as required.
