Exciting times at Visiting Angels North Shropshire!
We’re growing our Angel team, and we’re looking to add another Care Manager to our team to oversee our Caregivers!
We’re looking for someone who loves people, relationships and a fast-paced environment — someone who can help us build a team with lasting bonds with our caregivers while making sure our team are trained, supported, valued and empowered to do what they do best.
You’ll be overseeing:
- Recruitment & pre-screening of caregivers
- Interviews & references
- Training for induction, refresher & competencies
- Supervisions & appraisals
- Supporting and developing our amazing caregiver team

To work alongside this amazing team we encourage:
- Strong background in care and leadership skills
- Qualified to QCF Level 3 or above
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT knowledge for MS Office and Excel
- Birdie knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of training requirements relating to medication management, moving and positioning, and CQC regulations, with the ability to ensure caregivers are appropriately trained, competent and compliant with current legislation, policies and best-practice guidelines.

What we can offer:
- £30,000 salary + additional payment for on-call
- Office based in Shrewsbury (sometimes with a resident furball dog in place)
