Care Professional
Care Professional – Companionship-Led Support
At Home Instead Rochdale
At Home Instead Rochdale believes in quality, companionship-led care to empower adults to live happily and safely in their own homes. Every client is matched with a Care Professional based on shared interests and hobbies, ensuring that each visit feels like time with a trusted friend. Minimum one-hour visits allow for meaningful connection, building trust and lasting relationships without pressure.
The Role
Working in care means no two days are ever the same. As a Care Professional with Home Instead Rochdale, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of clients through:
- Providing warm, empathetic companionship and regularly checking on their wellbeing
- Assisting with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming support
- Medication reminders and managing any necessary assistance
- Planning and preparing healthy meals, along with ensuring proper hydration
- Supporting with light household tasks (e.g., laundry, tidying)
- Escorting clients to appointments, social events, shopping trips, or hobbies to foster social engagement

What We Need From You
We offer full, paid training—no prior experience is required. We’re looking for individuals with:
- A strongly caring, empathetic nature, patience, and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle (essential for client visits)
- The right to work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be provided)
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check for safeguarding
