Job Description
Pay & Hours
- Starter hourly rates:
- £13.35/hour (weekdays)
- £14.25/hour (weekends)
- Double pay on Bank Holidays
- Paid travel time between visits (£12.85/hour)
Shift Patterns
We offer very flexible scheduling rather than fixed set shifts; however, the following requirements apply:
- All Care Professionals must work a minimum of two days per week which includes anti-social hours (starting by 6:45am or finishing by 10:00pm).
- No rigid shift blocks (e.g. strict 7am–3pm or 3pm–10pm; schedules are custom-built based on your availability while ensuring service needs are met).
- Requirement to work alternate weekends.
- Flexible weekly hours are available, but you must commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, while still meeting other conditions.

Upon successful completion of the probationary period:
- Transition from a 0-hour contract to an average-hours contract based on your consistent working hours.

Your Role: Care Assistant
As a Care Assistant, you’ll help clients maintain independence in their own homes by:
- Supporting clients to stay safe, comfortable, and secure
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Preparing meals and assisting with daily routines
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with medication reminders
- Encouraging independence while promoting general wellbeing
This is a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day.
What You’ll Need
