Company Description

Home Instead provides personalised home care services, including companionship, personal care, and live-in care, enabling older adults to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Our compassionate Care Professionals are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care tailored to each client's unique needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Professional with a passion for caring to join our Derry/Londonderry office.

We’re looking for Care Professionals who are enthusiastic about care, can bring respect and dignity to their clients, well organised and professional. Permanent Part time and flexible hours are available. Must have access to reliable transportation.

Job Description

Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career, where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - actively engage with clients in meaningful activities, conversations, and social interactions, promoting mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

  • Full driving license and access to vehicle
  • Have at least 6 months care experience
  • Be compassionate and professional
  • Be able to deliver bespoke care
  • Enhanced Access NI check (every 3 years)
  • Good standard of written and verbal English
