Evening Care Professional (2pm to 10pm)

Full Time & Part Time Opportunities Available

Barnstaple & Bideford | North Devon

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day?

At Home Instead North Devon & Exmoor, we provide award-winning, relationship-led care that helps older people remain independent in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for caring, reliable individuals who are specifically available to work evening shifts between 2:00pm and 10:00pm in the Barnstaple and Bideford areas.

Unlike many care providers, we offer a minimum one-hour visit, giving you the time to provide quality care and companionship without feeling rushed.

Whether you're experienced in care or completely new to the sector, we provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Job Description

What You'll Do

As a Care Professional, you'll provide personalised support that helps our clients live safely and independently at home. Duties may include:

  • Companionship and building meaningful relationships
  • Personal care with dignity and respect
  • Meal preparation and light household support
  • Medication reminders
  • Shopping, appointments and errands
  • Supporting hobbies, activities and social outings
  • Promoting independence and wellbeing

Evening Availability Required

This role is specifically for individuals who can work evenings between 2:00pm and 10:00pm.

We are particularly interested in applicants who can provide regular evening availability and work every other weekend.

Please note: We are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship.

What We Offer

  • £13.40 - £14.60 per hour
  • Contracts available from 5 to 35 guaranteed hours per week

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • A caring, compassionate and reliable nature
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Availability to work evenings between 2pm and 10pm
  • Availability to work every other weekend
