Care Quality & Operations Coordinator
Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire – Office Based
Salary: £26,300–£27,300 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Type: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and organised Care Quality & Operations Coordinator to join our office and care coordination team.
This is an important role supporting the quality, consistency and smooth delivery of our care services. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to support care planning, communication, risk management, medication documentation, service user visits and day-to-day operational coordination.
The successful candidate will help ensure that our carers, service users, families and professional partners receive a responsive, well-organised and high-quality service.
About the Role
Working alongside the Care Operations Coordinator and wider management team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day delivery of care services.
- Reviewing information from previous on-call periods and identifying outstanding actions or matters requiring escalation.
- Receiving and triaging calls from carers, service users, families and professionals.
- Supporting urgent care issues and coordinating emergency staffing cover where required.
- Creating, reviewing and updating person-centred care plans using PASS.
- Preparing care plans for new service users.
- Supporting accurate medication task setup and completing second checks where authorised.
- Maintaining accurate, clear and audit-ready records using Nourish and other care systems.
- Liaising with GPs, nurses, social workers, carers, families and other professionals.
- Identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns, changes in need and potential risks.
- Undertaking planned service user home visits.
- Reviewing PEEPs, access arrangements and relevant environmental and safety risks during visits.
- Reporting changes in service user needs or circumstances to the appropriate senior member of staff.
- Assisting management with reports, investigations and quality follow-up.
- Supporting the onboarding of new carers, including ID badges, PPE and uniforms.
- Contributing to staff communication and engagement initiatives.
- Monitoring PPE stock and arranging authorised orders.
- Providing reasonable operational and administrative support to colleagues across the organisation.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Essential
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle
- Previous experience working within domiciliary care, health care or social care.
- A good understanding of person-centred care.
- An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Good risk awareness and sound professional judgement.
- Confidence using electronic care documentation and care management systems.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with urgent or challenging situations.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A willingness to undertake planned service user home visits.

Desirable
- Experience of care planning and care documentation within a domiciliary care setting.
- Experience using PASS, Nourish or similar care management systems.
- Experience of medication documentation and checking processes.
- Experience supporting quality assurance, audits, investigations or compliance activity.
- Experience coordinating staffing or responding to urgent operational issues.
Out-of-Hours On-Call
Participation in Bradcare's out-of-hours on-call rota is optional and may be available by invitation, depending on business requirements and suitability.
