You will act as a role model and coach for our Care Assistants and help support our customers with all aspects of their day-to-day life.

Responsibilities of the Field Care Supervisor include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Customer Care and the Live-in Care Manager with the efficient running and supervision of Care Assistants and support workers within a designated area
- Deliver care activities as required split between supervisory and care duties as rostered
- Carry out risk assessments before each service commences
- Keep care and support plans up to date
- Create a written, individually tailored plan of care and support that respects each customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy
- Support, supervise, and assist with the training of Care Assistants
- Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota as required
- Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues
- Monitor the performance of Care Assistants and conduct quality reviews at customers’ homes
- Apply Bluebird Care policies and procedures at all times and make sure that accidents and incidents are recorded, reported, and acted upon
- Work flexibly to meet business needs

Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm plus on-call and out-of-hours field work and care delivery evenings and weekends as required

Please note you must have previous care experience and hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role.
NVQ level 3 is desirable but not essential
Requirements
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
- Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
