Bluebird Care Southend & Rochford is seeking an experienced Care Supervisor to join our growing team. As one of the UK's largest and most established home care providers, we're proud of our reputation for delivering outstanding care and supporting people to live independently in their own homes.

The Role

As an experienced Care Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards our customers expect. You'll work closely with our care teams, customers and office staff to ensure care is delivered safely, compassionately and in line with regulatory requirements.

This is a varied role that combines leadership, quality assurance, customer support and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor and support our Care Assistants to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
  • Carry out care assessments, customer reviews and spot checks.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of care quality and compliance.
  • Support with the induction, training and ongoing development of care staff.
  • Assist with care planning and risk assessments.
  • Respond professionally to customer queries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate electronic care records using our care management systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager and wider office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Promote our values and maintain compliance with CQC standards and company policies.

About You

We're looking for someone who already has supervisory experience within the care sector and is ready to make a positive impact.

You'll Have

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in health and social care.
  • Previous experience as a Care Supervisor, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Assistant or similar leadership role.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills.
  • The confidence to lead, motivate and support a team.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
