At ICare Group, we're passionate about supporting people to live safely and independently in their own homes and communities. We're currently looking for a caring and committed Care Support Worker to join our Blackpool team on a 9-month maternity cover contract.

This rewarding role is based within a friendly supported living home, supporting four male residents with varying levels of need, alongside providing dedicated one-to-one support within the community. No two days are the same, and every day is an opportunity to make a genuine difference.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Care Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping people live happy, fulfilling lives by:

  • Providing personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion
  • Supporting with daily living tasks, including meals, medication prompts, and household duties
  • Encouraging independence and building confidence
  • Offering companionship, emotional support, and reassurance
  • Supporting individuals to access and enjoy their local community
  • Carrying out wellbeing checks and reporting any concerns
  • Following individual care plans to deliver the highest standard of support

  • Living locally to the Blackpool FY1 area
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience supporting older people
  • Experience supporting individuals living with dementia and other health conditions
  • Understanding of person-centred care
  • Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
