We provide supports to a number of people living in their own homes within the Hansel Broadmeadows Estate in Symington.

One of our services is home to 3 young adults who require continuous care, provided on a 1:1 basis throughout the day, who require higher levels of care.

They are all supported with every aspect of their daily living. This home is a busy, vibrant and a fun house and you need to be creative and adaptable to ensure everyone is included and able to live their best lives.

You will be working as part of a team with other support workers in the house but you will be focused on one specific customer each day.

All of these young people need to use private transport so must be able to drive to provide the support they need.

Although this service is based within the Hansel estate, you will support people to be part of their wider community – to access local services and shops as well as attend classes and be involved in a whole range of activities such as, swimming, bowling and local groups.

This is a very sociable group of young adults, who love getting out and going on trips and outings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
