The Role

Position: Care Team Leader (Days) Salary: £15.80 per hour Hours: 38.5 hours per week

As a Care Team Leader, you’ll be part of an award-winning team where both colleagues and residents matter. Sanctuary Care has been recognised for excellence in care for older people, training and development, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Support resident wellbeing – Help residents feel at home by meeting their emotional, physical, and social needs. 🔹 Enrich lives through teamwork – Collaborate with colleagues to create fulfilling, daily experiences for residents. 🔹 Deliver personalised care – Follow individual care plans to ensure residents receive tailored support. 🔹 Promote leisure and social engagement – Organise activities to keep residents engaged and happy. 🔹 Lead and develop colleagues – Guide Care Assistants, providing mentorship and fostering growth.

Requirements

🔸 Experience in care (NVQ3/SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent desirable). 🔸 Strong communication skills – Clearly convey information and collaborate flexibly. 🔸 Team player – Must value collaboration and work effectively with others. 🔸 Compassionate nature – genuine interest in older people and commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect.
