Care Assistant - Make a Difference Every Day
Choices Homecare is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Care Assistants to join our friendly community care team.
We support people to live independently in their own homes, and we're looking for people who want to make a genuine difference to someone's day — whether that's helping with personal care, preparing a meal, supporting independence or simply being there for a friendly chat.
Locations: Formby L37 | Crosby & Thornton L23 | Waterloo L22 | Litherland L21/L30 | Maghull L31 | Bootle L20
£13.51 per hour
30p per mile mileage allowance between client visits
Full-time & part-time hours available
Minimum 20 hours per week
Genuine career progression opportunities

What You'll Be Doing
Every day is different. You'll help the people we support to live as independently and comfortably as possible.
Your role may include:
- Supporting with personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting
- Supporting with medication and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where required
- Encouraging independence with everyday activities
- Building positive relationships with the people we support and their families
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and recognising changes in needs or behaviour
- Completing accurate care records and communicating with colleagues
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment
- Respecting confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries
What We're Looking For
You don't need previous care experience. What matters most to us is your attitude and your willingness to learn.

For certain routes and locations, you'll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
What Are the Hours?
Care is delivered 7 days a week between 7:00am and 11:00pm.
We offer flexible full-time and part-time opportunities, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
You'll receive your rota in advance, helping you plan your work and personal life around your shifts.
