Role Description
The Care Worker role is an on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, supporting individuals in their daily living activities and overall well-being. Day-to-day tasks may include:
- Assisting with personal care
- Meal preparation
- Medication prompts (where appropriate)
- Mobility support

- Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition
- Follow care plans

The Care Worker is expected to adhere to safeguarding procedures, respect confidentiality, and contribute positively to a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide high-quality personal care, including assistance with hygiene, dressing, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and respecting individual preferences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients, collaborate with families, and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills to follow care plans, manage schedules, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Awareness of health and safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality principles, with the ability to follow relevant policies and procedures.
- Compassionate, patient, and resilient approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting people from diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Previous experience in care, social work, or support roles is beneficial; recognized care qualifications (such as NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development, including mandatory care and safeguarding training.
- Right to work in the UK and, where required, ability to obtain an enhanced background check in line with local regulations.
