Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Care Worker role based in Lavender view Hunstanton. The Care Worker will provide person-centered support to individuals in their homes or local community, helping with personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and daily living tasks. The role also involves offering emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to help people maintain independence and engage in social and community activities. Care Workers will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, follow Radis policies and procedures, and participate in training and supervision to deliver high-quality, compliant care.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care, including support with personal care, daily living tasks, and companionship.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Organizational and record-keeping skills to follow care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and report concerns promptly.
- Reliability and flexibility, including the ability to work various shifts such as mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic IT and literacy skills to use care recording systems and read and understand policies and procedures.
- No previous experience needed as full training will be given.
- Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care) or willingness to work towards them.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries, with a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to complete background checks and any required pre-employment screening.
