About The Role

We’re looking for caring and committed people to join our team at Byrnhill Grove, our registered care home in Ventnor, and help us provide high quality, person centred care to residents. At our registered care home in Ventnor, we provide person centred, CQC regulated care that puts residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing first - and we’d love you to be part of that journey.

Reporting to a Senior Care Worker, you’ll support residents with their day to day needs, including personal care, mobility, medication and wellbeing. You’ll follow personalised care plans, ensuring care is delivered safely and in line with best practice, while promoting independence, choice and inclusion.

You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable and supported in their home. This is a hands on role where every day is different, and every shift makes a real impact. You’ll work across a rota including early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, and may be required to participate in an on call rota where needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
