Careers & Employability Advisor Opportunity
LJMU is seeking an experienced part-time Careers & Employability Advisor to join our award-winning Student Futures team. As the university’s Careers, Employability and Start-Up team, Student Futures provides a diverse range of services, experiences, advice and guidance directly to students and graduates, designed to transform their skills, mindset and future success. As a value-adding partner, Student Futures provides expert consultancy and practical support to academic colleagues across the university.

Key Responsibilities
As Careers & Employability Adviser, you will:
- Provide personalised careers advice and guidance to LJMU students and graduates
- Equip students to recognise their strengths and motivations
- Develop a rich awareness of the diverse pathways open to them
- Conduct job and opportunity searches
- Successfully navigate recruitment processes
- Review their progress toward a fulfilling future career
Qualifications and Experience
You will be a qualified and experienced specialist, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in today's labour market and how students from a wide range of backgrounds can succeed within it.
