Location - Campus-based, onsite - Bristol Campus
We’re looking for a Careers, Industry & Events Coordinator to join dBs Institute and play a central role in helping our students turn their talent and creativity into successful careers.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining careers support, industry engagement and live events. You’ll be right at the heart of campus life, you’ll build relationships with music industry professionals, create work experience and performance opportunities, support students with their career development, and deliver exciting showcases, gigs, masterclasses and networking events.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and manage relationships with employers, promoters, venues, studios and music industry partners
- Identify work experience, placement and performance opportunities for students
- Provide practical careers support, including mock interviews, audition preparation and industry guidance
- Plan and deliver showcases, gigs, performances, networking events, panels and masterclasses
- Help deliver our annual Industry Week
- Engage industry professionals and alumni with campus activity
- Lead and develop our student events team, giving students valuable paid professional experience
- Manage careers communications, opportunities, newsletters and the campus job board
- Work collaboratively with Academic, Marketing, Technical and Campus teams

About You
You’ll be proactive, organised and confident building relationships. You’ll have a strong understanding of the music or creative industries, experience of delivering events, and a genuine passion for helping people develop. Some evening and weekend work will be required for events, open days, festivals and other student activities.
