Role Description

This is a part-time, remote Caregiver role focused on providing person-centered home care support to clients in their own homes. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Caregivers are expected to maintain clear documentation, uphold professional care standards, and communicate respectfully with clients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust and provide emotional support.
  • Practical skills in personal care assistance, safe moving and handling, and basic household support, including meal preparation and light cleaning.
  • Reliability, time management, and organizational skills to follow care plans, maintain records, and manage part-time schedules effectively.
  • Empathy, patience, and a client-centered mindset, with a genuine desire to improve quality of life and promote independence.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, community-based setting, using mobile or digital tools to receive updates and document care.
  • Previous experience in care, support work, or a related field is beneficial but not always required; full training may be provided.
  • Basic understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries; willingness to follow all policies and procedures.
  • Right to work in the UK, satisfactory background checks, and flexibility to travel locally to client homes as needed.
