We are currently looking to appoint a Careline Support Coordinator to join our Independent Living Service Team.
Role Overview
As a Careline Support Coordinator, you will provide an effective, efficient, and customer-focused housing-related support service to elderly and vulnerable residents within South Derbyshire.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand their needs through a structured support plan
- Provide suitable advice and solutions to their housing or support problems
- Signposting residents to various agencies, groups, and sources of help
- Attend out-of-hours calls on a shared-on-call rota
- Helping fallers off the floor using specialist lifting equipment
- Responding to ill health emergencies

Requirements
- Self-motivated and flexible individual
- Ability to work to high customer care standards with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work on your own initiative but also as part of a team
- Experience in this type of role is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Fully mobile, with your own car essential for visiting customers across the district
