Role Description
This is a full-time and Part-time, on-site Carer role based in Ealing and Hounslow. The Carer will support clients in their homes with daily living activities such as personal care, dressing, bathing, and mobility assistance. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing companionship, engaging clients in social and recreational activities, and supporting with light household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying. The Carer will follow individualized care plans, monitor changes in clients’ wellbeing, and report concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals as appropriate. The role also involves working closely with families, respecting client preferences and cultural backgrounds, documenting care accurately, and adhering to safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

- Ability to provide high-quality personal care and support with daily living tasks while maintaining clients’ dignity and comfort.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to build trust and provide meaningful companionship.
- Reliability, time management, and organizational skills to follow care schedules, record information, and respond promptly to client needs.
- Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience to support individuals with disabilities, dementia, and mental health needs.
- Basic understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality in a care setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including families and external professionals.
- Willingness to travel locally between clients’ homes within the London and surrounding areas; valid right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in care or support work is beneficial; relevant care certificates or NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care are an advantage but not mandatory.
