Job Description
Purbeck Personal Assistants are seeking Domiciliary Carers to join our team based in Swanage providing assistance to elderly clients in their own homes so they can remain living independently. It is essential that you can treat people with dignity and respect and treat them in a kind and caring manner. Experience is not essential as we will provide full on the job training and e-learning with the opportunity to work towards a recognised care qualification. Car drivers with access to their own vehicles is preferred due to some of our clients living in remote locations that are not on public transport links.

Responsibilities
- To assist clients to wash and dress
- To assist clients in using the toilet
- To assist clients to eat and drink meals of their own preference
- To assist clients with their medications
Qualifications
- Minimum of Care Certificate preferred but not essential
- Driving license preferred but not essential
- Good command of the English language
- Good understanding of British culture
Pay
- Carers with no experience will start on a pay rate of £12.75 per hour, increasing to £13.00 per hour on completion of probation
- Experienced Carers will start on a rate of £13.00 per hour increasing to £13.50 on passing probation
- Experienced Carers with a Care Qualification and over 2 years experience will start on a pay rate of £13.25 per hour increasing to £13.75 on passing probation
