The Vacancy

(37 hours per week/52 weeks per year)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and reliable caretaker to the Facilities and Estates Department.

The successful applicant will be experienced and vocationally competent in a caretaking role, able to work on their own or as part of a team in dealing with a wide and varied range of caretaking issues and reporting building fabric issues in line with procedure.

The successful applicant must have the ability to manually handle large items, being able to respond efficiently and effectively to assist with urgent caretaking matters is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to meet safeguarding targets once trained and contribute positively to the continuous improvement in quality and standard of service the team provide across the College. A flexible approach to work is required as additional hours and overtime may need to be worked to cover annual leave.
