  • Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 pro rata (16,341 - £16,891 per annum)
  • Hours: Part time, 25 hours per week, 46 weeks per year (with holiday entitlement), 5 hours per day, flexibility of hours depending on circumstances and suitability
  • Contract: Permanent, 21 September 2026 (or via negotiation with the successful candidate)

Barnham CEVC Primary School is seeking a flexible and committed Caretaker to take pride in the upkeep and maintenance of our internal and external school site.

Barnham CEVC Primary School is a supportive Thrive School of Excellence, caring school with a family feel, located in the beautiful rural countryside in the village of Barnham, near Thetford, Suffolk, on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.

We are looking for someone who:

  • can meet the duties outlined within the job description

  • is reliable and punctual
  • has high expectations of their standard of work and pays attention to detail
  • has an unblemished safeguarding record
  • has a good standard of IT literacy and willingness to use electronic/digital systems
