Cleaner Position at Barnsley Schools

Location

Barnsley - Holy Trinity School, Carlton Rd, Barnsley S71 2LF

Salary

£13.72 per hour

Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday:

  • Earlies: 05:30am - 13:30pm
  • Middles: 09:00am – 17:00pm
  • Lates: Latest finish will be 21:30

About the Role

Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Barnsley Schools working on delivering critical services for schools that make a real positive impact across the UK.

Amey provides facilities and estate management services to the Barnsley Schools Private Finance Initiative across 11 schools, ensuring high-quality, safe, clean, and compliant learning environments for teachers and students. They work in partnership with clients and end-users to deliver 24/7 services to the highest standard with minimal disruption to the schools' daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
  • Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
  • Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
  • Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
  • Supporting both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
