About The Role
Caretakers are needed in Walsall for full-time, temporary-to-permanent positions paying £12.71 per hour, Monday to Friday. Working across school sites, you will handle general upkeep, basic repairs, and delivery bookings. Duties include opening and securing premises, holding keys, and performing maintenance tasks to keep the environment safe. Applicants must have prior caretaker or maintenance experience, an Enhanced DBS, and strong reliability. Good communication skills and the ability to work alone are essential. CARETAKER JOBS – WALSALL & WOLVERHAMPTON

Pertemps Wolverhampton are currently recruiting for experienced Caretakers to work across schools in the Walsall and Wolverhampton areas.
The Role
- General school site upkeep
- Basic maintenance and repairs
- Booking in school deliveries
- Opening and securing the site
- Key holding responsibilities
- Ensuring the site is safe and well maintained
- Carrying out maintenance tasks as required
