About the Role

We seek compassionate, kind-hearted individuals passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Care Pro, you will provide non-medical in-home support to help older adults maintain independence.

No formal experience or qualifications are required—just a strong desire to support others and deliver exceptional care. Successful candidates will be:

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful
  • Comfortable building professional friendships
  • Open to spending time with clients in a homely setting

The role typically demands the ability to drive and access your own vehicle, work weekends, andmiral 8 AM starts (as preferred by many clients).


Responsibilities

  • Deliver non-medical care and companionship in clients’ homes.
  • Build trust and rapport based on shared interests or hobbies.
  • Assist with daily living tasks while maintaining autonomy and dignity.
  • Accompany clients on appointments or outings as requested.
  • Work flexibly to accommodate varying schedules.

Requirements

  • A caring and compassionate personality with strong communication skills (English proficiency).
  • Two professional and two personal references.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Full driving license with access to a private vehicle (clients are primarily served in their homes).
  • Willingness to work from 8 AM to meet client needs.
  • Submission to criminal record checks and reference verification.
  • Commitment to Home Instead’s safeguarding policies.
